「むがぁ～し　あったづもな。」で始まる昔話は、遥か過去の遺産のように思われているが、遠野では今でも語られ続けている。
むかしは家の年寄りが、子や孫のため、夜みんなが集まる炉辺で語って聞かせたであろう昔話は、今では遠野に訪れる観光客の多くが、その話の虜になっている。
　遠野の昔話は、カッパや座敷わらしの姿がをかりて、後世に伝えなければならない、忘れてはいけない教訓を伝えている話も数多い。
本来ならば家の年寄りに滔々と言われる話を、ゆっくりとやわらかな話言葉で語られ続けたから、じんわりと体に沁み込み、今日まで語り継がれているにちがいない。
　この「遠野昔話」を語りべの第一人者である・正武家ミヤさんが語るDVDが発売された。今回は200話を超えるミヤさんのレパートリーの中から、選りすぐりの30話が全5巻のDVDになった。
どこか　ほわぁ～んとした雰囲気と訛りのある語りに、心が手足をのばしていくような、そんな感覚を覚えるに違いありません。

The legend of Tono starts by “Mugashi atta-zumona”.
“Old times and old times” is said, “Mugashi atta-zumona ” in Tono.

The old tale is thought like the heritage of the past.
However, it keeps talking still in Tono.

The legend has been handed down by the elderly person in the house because of the child and the grandchild.
The legend enchants a lot of tourists now.

“Kappa” and “Zashiki-Warashi” often appear in the legend of Tono.
And, a lot of legends are lessons not forgotten.

The legend of Tono was slowly talked about by a soft tone.
Therefore, it enters the interior of the mind, and it is handed down until today.
